The first stage Kitchen Defender consists KDF/Carbon Treatment. Subsequent stages depend entirely on what's in your water. I custom assemble these systems to treat the contaminants in your water.
The Kitchen Defender Home Water Purifier includes a tap to your cold water supply line and filters water through a KDF/Carbon treatment at a rate of ˝ to 1 gallon per minute. The water is delivered to your sink by a second faucet that’s included.

◊ three stage version below right ($285 - most often sold) and three stage including UV light ($375) below left:
Treatment options include removal of chlorine, chloramine, and all chlorine by-products. Also treatments to remove heavy metals, or reduction of fluoride and arsenic.
Filtration options include 5 micron, 1 micron, and .2 micron ceramic
Two stage KD: 5" wide by 12" deep by 13" tall
Three stage KD: 5" wide by 17" deep by 13" tall
If you have a specific contaminant that is not listed above, ask me about it. I can usually reduce or remove it.
My custom 3 stage or 4 stage (with UV) Kitchen Defender will cost you $285 to $470
plus shipping.
The 3 stage Kitchen Defender produces high quality drinking water at a cost of 34 cents per day.
These are the most effective systems you'll find anywhere because the treatments are designed to remove the contaminants in your water. All water is not the same.
Independent testing showed total removal of chloramine, chlorine byproducts, and fluoride.

The water tastes so much better than provided by my old filtration system. After installation of the Kitchen Defender, my water is clear, smells fresh, is nicely aerated with tiny bubbles, and is quite good. It's still not so "sweet" as the best mountain waters of my memories (Ah... the summit at Lassen State Park in No. California -- I hated to leave that spigot on the roadside!)
