Technology All of our units use ions to cause particles such as allergens to drop out of indoor air.
Some of our air purifiers use RCI or radiant catalytic ionization to sanitize indoor air by producing hydroxyl and peroxide ions. These ions interact with odor causing molecules and neutralize them.
Some of our air purifiers also use ozone to 'sanitize' an unoccupied room. I use units that employ ozone. Just as water and pools can be cleansed with ozone, air can be too. These systems are capable of putting out higher levels of ozone in order to 'sanitize' a space when people are no present, eliminating mold, bacteria, and odors. However, I do not use this purification technology while people are in the room. Instead, I will sanitize my home for instance when I go to town to shop or if I'm away for a day. Ozone technology will kill bacteria and mold, eliminate strong odors, including pet odors, paint, tobacco smoke, or cooking odors.
